Sergeant Major Robert T. Kazmerowski

Sergeant Major Robert T. Kazmerowski was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in December of 2000 and underwent recruit training at Mike Company, 3d Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. Following recruit training, Sergeant Major Kazmerowski attended The School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, NC, where he completed initial training and earned the military occupational specialty of 0311 Rifleman.

Throughout his career, Sergeant Major Kazmerowski has been assigned to numerous units to include: 3rd Battalion, 24th Marines, 1st Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, Recruiting Station Nashville, Recruiting Station Baton Rouge, 4th Tank Battalion, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines and 2D Reconnaissance Battalion.

Sergeant Major Kazmerowski has held many billets to include Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Company Gunnery Sergeant, Platoon Commander, Canvassing Recruiter, Recruiting Sub-station SNCOIC, MEPs Liaison, Officer Assistant Recruiter, Assistant Recruiter Instructor, Operations Chief, I&I First Sergeant, Company First Sergeant, and currently serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of Recruiting Station Los Angles. 

Sergeant Major Kazmerowski has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2004, 2006, 2009), Operation Enduring Freedom (2010), Black Sea Rotational Force (2012) and with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (SOC) (2023, 2024).

His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars in lieu of third award, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal with four gold stars in lieu of fifth award and the Combat Action Ribbon.

He is happily married to Shannon Kazmerowski of Nashville, TN.
