Major Seth K. Kellogg

Major Seth K. Kellogg enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in October of 2008, and graduated Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego
in January of 2009. He completed MCT and attended Field Radio Operators Course graduating in May of 2009.

He served from 2009 to 2013 as a field radio operator in Bravo Company, 4th Tank Battalion in Yakima, Washington, achieving
the rank of Sergeant prior to commissioning.

Major Kellogg earned his commission through the Platoon Leaders Class, graduating from Central Washington University with a
Bachelors in History, where he commissioned in June of 2013.

In December of 2014, he attended The Basic School and Infantry Officer Course, and upon graduation he was assigned to 2d
Battalion, 8th Marines. While at 2d Battalion, 8th Marines he served as a Rifle Platoon Commander and as the 81mm Mortar Platoon Commander, deploying twice to Eastern Europe in support of Black Sea Rotational Force/ SPMAGTF 15.1 and 16.2.

In February of 2017 Major Kellogg was selected by Marine Corps Recruiting Command to serve as the Operations Officer and
Executive Officer for the Marines of Recruiting Station Salt Lake City. Following a successful tour on recruiting duty he was assigned as a Student to Expeditionary Warfare School, graduating 13 May 2021.

In September of 2021 Major Kellogg transferred to 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, where he
served as Alpha Company Commander from September 2022 to May of 2024. During his time as Company Commander, Alpha
Company deployed for training to 29 Palms twice in support of service level exercises, and deployed with the 26 MEU(SOC) to US EUCOM and CENTCOM.

Major Kellogg is married to his wife Taylor, and has two daughters Imogen and Isolde.
