Major Ryan Mohler

Major Ryan Mohler graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, and in May 2008 was subsequently commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps.  He graduated The Basic School, Quantico, Virginia in July 2009 and obtained the Aviation Supply Officer Military Occupational Specialty.
 
After graduation from The Basic School, he was assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14 (MALS-14) to begin on the job training.  In August, 2008 he was assigned to Naval Supply Corps School, Athens, Georgia where he completed the Aviation Supply Officer Basic Qualification Course.  Upon his return to MALS-14, he filled multiple division OICs billets within the Aviation Supply Department.  From August 2011 to February 2012, he deployed to Kandahar Airfield as the MALS-40 Detachment B OIC, where he oversaw the Marine aviation logistical support for the AV-8B and C-130J aircraft.  Upon his return, he assumed the billet of Assistant Aviation Supply Officer until his EAS in May 2012.
 
In June 2012, he assessed onto the Active Reserve program and was assigned as the Assistant Aviation Supply Officer, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans.
 
In June 2015, he assumed responsibilities as the Reserve Procurement Officer, Marine Corps Recruiting Command in Quantico, Virginia.  During this time, he deployed as an individual augmentee to Headquarters, Resolute Support under the Deputy Chief of Staff-Support, CJ4 in Kabul, Afghanistan.  Upon his return, he again assumed the responsibilities as the Reserve Procurement Officer until July 2019.
 
In July 2019, he reported to MCRD Parris Island, SC for duty as the Prior Service Recruiting Branch Head, Assistant Chief of Staff Recruiting, Eastern Recruiting Region.  In July 2022, he assumed the responsibilities as the Prior Service Recruiting Station 12, Officer in Charge, 12th Marine Corps District.
 
His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal with “C” device, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold star, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star.
