Master Sergeant Sayied enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 14, 2005 from his hometown of Detroit, MI. After graduating from recruit training and MCT, Master Sergeant Sayied reported to Twentynine Palms, CA for his MOS training as a Data Networks Technician (0651).
 
Upon graduating his MOS school, Master Sergeant Sayied reported to 1st Battalion 24th Marines at Selfridge, MI as a Data Networks Technician in February 2006.  Master Sergeant Sayied was promoted to Lance Corporal in March 2006.
 
In June 2006, Master Sergeant Sayied started his work up for a deployment to Iraq. 1/24 set foot in Fallujah, Iraq in September 2006. Master Sergeant Sayied was assigned to Entry Control Point 1 Alpha as the Corporal of the Guard. On January 2, 2007, Master Sergeant Sayied was Combat Meritoriously promoted to Corporal. The unit returned home in April 2007 where he stayed on ADOS ordered as a Data Networks Technician.
 
In August 2009, Master Sergeant Sayied volunteered for his second deployment to Iraq with 3rd Battalion, 24th Marines. The unit arrived in Iraq in September 2009 and Master Sergeant Sayied performed duties as the Assistant Data Chief. Master Sergeant Sayied was promoted to Sergeant on October 1, 2009.
 
In April 2011, Master Sergeant Sayied accessed onto the Active Reserve Program and received orders to H&S Co, 6th Motor Transport Battalion, Red Bank, NJ where he performed his duties as the Battalion Data Chief.  During this time, Master Sergeant Sayied was meritoriously promoted to Staff Sergeant on April 2, 2015.
After a 4 year tour, Master Sergeant Sayied was ordered to Prior Service Recruiting duties in April 2015.
 
Master Sergeant Sayied checked into 12th Marine Corps District, Prior Service Recruiting Sub Station Los Angeles on May 8, 2015. Master Sergeant Sayied was meritoriously promoted to Gunnery Sergeant on October 2, 2016 after receiving the Recruiter of the Year award for FY 16.
 
On March 1st, 2018, Master Sergeant Sayied completed his tour on recruiting and reported to 6th Communications Battalion, Direct Support Company, Farmingdale, NY and served as a Data Systems Chief and Training Chief. While attached to 6th Comm BN, Master Sergeant Sayied was approved to lateral move into the MOS of 8422, Career Recruiter, and received orders back to 12th Marine Corps District as SNCOIC for PSRSS Portland.
 
On August 1st, 2019, Master Sergeant Sayied checked into 12th MCD, PSRSS Portland and served as the SNCOIC for PSRSS Portland. During his time as SNCOIC, Master Sayied was selected for his current rank and was slated to PCS to 9th Marine Corps district as the Recruiter Instructor and Senior Enlisted Advisor.
 
Master Sergeant Sayied checked into 9th Marine Corps District on August 6, 2021 and served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor and Recruiter Instructor for Prior Service Recruiting Station 9.  After serving two years with PSRS 9, Master Sergeant Sayied was slated to take over as the Operations Chief for 12^th Marine Corps District and checked into PSRS 12 on July 11, 2023.
 
His personal decorations include the Bronze Star with combat “V” device, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2), Combat Action Ribbon, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and Humanitarian Service Medal.
 
Master Sergeant Sayied and his wife Naznin have two boys, Ameer (14) and Aaryan (12).
