U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Abelardo Dominguez, the sergeant major for Recruiting Station Portland, renders a salute to U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Matthew Krempel, the commanding officer for Recruiting Station Portland, during a swear-in ceremony at the 2022 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Anchorage, Alaska on March 5, 2022. The Marines had the opportunity to conduct a swear-in ceremony under the start banner and educate spectators about the opportunities the Marine Corps has to offer.
